I’m not going in deep because I’m very “Mums are superheros” and… I’m sure it’s emotionally relatable for a lot of mums… but
there is an irony to it…
…partly complaining about enabling helplessness (“they don’t help enough”) while at the same time also reinforcing the belief that only mum can/will do things properly….
Hmmm im not sure i agree that this is what is implied as i definetly do not think i am better or do things 'properly' compared to him.
I think that yes when it comes to the remembering appointments i.e doctors apps or dentist apps or even parents evening mums do this shit better and properly.
When it comes to lets say for example playing football or doing bath time i believe dads can defo do this better or properly.
I think my point has maybe gone over your head here and i was just simply saying we do the most all of the time and we do it when we can't due to illness or don't want to due to being tired or fed up. Regardless of how we feel we do it. Dads do not do it when they are tired, fed up or can't be bothered because they have the mum to do it instead and they can simply just sit down an say i'm tired so therefore we get up and cook, clean, deal with the kids regardless of how we feel.
I promise i was not implying that mums do it better and i really don't think i believe this either, i think the kids might have a preference but i dont think i do things more properly than him.
Ok fair point. I implied it because in my experience of life - me, friends, sisters, etc - I see that most jobs mum do better than dads. Because they are more on the ball and organised if anything else.
I understood the point you were making. I just joined dots in my heads that you weren’t.
If I give some feedback will you unleash a rage filled rant on me?
Go on let it rip!

and the dynamics become circular.
Not saying… Just saying.. ok
I dont believe i ever mentioned we do it better or ‘properly’ though i was simply saying we are the main ones that do it alllll time….
It’s always implied in these articles- lol
Ok answer the question right here right now (fatboy slim style) - do you believe that in most instances mums can and do things more properly?
The answer is based in centuries of fact anyway
